No. Mountain Dew — or any soft drink — does not have an affect on a guy’s sperm count.
There are things that can lower sperm count temporarily, such as wearing underwear that’s too tight or ejaculating frequently. However, these are not reliable birth control methods. Millions of sperm are released during ejaculation, so even a lowered sperm count can produce plenty of sperm to cause a pregnancy.
